To Purchase a copy of a recorded document please follow these 3 easy steps: 1. Call the County Clerk's Office at (409) 283-2281 to confirm number of pages in document. 2. Pay with credit card by using the icon to the bottom left of this page. a. The fee for mailing $1.00 per pg b. The fee for emailing $3.00 per pg c. A certified copy is an additional $5.00 (We can not email certified copies) d. Retain your payment id #. Your request will not be processed without it. 3. Submit your request using the records request form to the bottom left of this page. Make sure you are running the latest version of Java to submit this form. Check your version here before proceeding. We will send your document by email. Please allow 24-48 hours for processing. You may also submit your request in writing.
